What Is a Tropical?
Plants that grow near the equator and within the Tropical Zone of the world are considered tropicals. There are thousands of different species of tropicals in these areas and all of them have unique characteristics. Cultivation of these plants in temperate locations (non-tropical) is made possible by bringing the plants indoors during the cold season or through creating a controlled environment such as a greenhouse.
Special growing conditions should be maintained if you are deciding to grow tropicals... and GrowTropics is here to help you with these special grow conditions.
